Book Launch and Panel

The Council of Canadians PEI Chapter has teamed up with a Charlottetown bookstore, Bookmark, and the Climate Emergency Unit to promote Seth’s book, A Good War: Mobilizing Canada for the Climate EmergencyThe virtual event will include an impressive panel of local PEI activists, including:

  • Stephanie Arnold, PhD candidate in UPEI’s School of Climate Change and Adaptation

  • Sweta Daboo, Executive Director at PEI Coalition for Women in Government

  • Colin Jeffrey, Educator, Musician & Local Climate Advocate

Mik’maw Knowledge Keeper and Poet Laurette for PEI, Julie Pelissier-Lush with provide a traditional opening for the event. Todd Maclean, local musician and teacher, will moderate the event and even provide a live performance of a song he wrote for the climate emergency.
